Heather

Portraits of the ones you love makes drawing much easier. I try to always paint something I love, a golden rule in my painting.

I did Heather’s portrait from a school picture, as was Tam’s, and when I sketched Heather’s eyes, I recalled holding her in my arms feeding when she was a wee one, and marveled at the beautiful blue of her eyes, eyes very distinct and almond-shaped. Such a sweet girl.
