Shells, shells, shells – I love collecting them.

Dad and Mom would often take us to the beach before they bought our cottage at Hillsboro Beach on Lake Huron. Various shells, including snail shells were often found on the beach, in the grasses, and sometimes clinging to logs.

Snail Shells is another one of my earlier sketches.
