When talking with a friend about painting one day and he said he loved seascapes and his favourite painting is of a battleship in the British Royal Navy called the Dreadnought and asked if I would paint it for him. I told him I would love the challenge, especially doing water and waves.
Using 140 lb. Arches watercolour paper and the dimensions 19” x 35”, I painted it and he loved it.
I explained that I would have to say "painted after Michael Holden" the original artist.
