This modest, uncomplicated watercolour painted in monochromatic hues of grey, green and white simplify the innocence of the white geranium. White is my favourite colour, any shade of white.
Geraniums remind me of my Mother for she grew them year round, all colours - outside in the summer, inside on her ‘window-full of flowers’ in winter. I planted white geraniums in my back garden so they would stand out against the rich greens surrounding them and especially so they could be seen in the evening moonlight.
