Greenview Aviaries near Blenheim is a fun place where the kids play area is a big draw for our family with its bin of coloured balls. The bright coloured balls was a marvelous backdrop for photos. This perfect photo developed into a challenging watercolour painting – challenging because each coloured ball was a subject unto itself with the shape, the shading and the highlight of each ball. This happy painting is a fond reminder of the children’s delight that day.
