The white lap sided house sits quietly in the morning, sunshine dappling patters on its siding. A woodpecker is tapping away on a nearby tree, a dog is barking in the next yard. The sky is a hazy morning blue with low dappled white clouds.
And now, silence for a moment. You can hear a cardinal in the distance. How Glorious a Morning.
Byron is Beautiful, the theme of this paint out with friendly neighbourhoods and lovely homes. Often I love to express my feelings as I paint, so I write them around the painting. Looking back at this painting I am reminded why I painted this piece.
