Partners Dorothy dhunter Adams

A clear sunny morn’s fluffy white clouds dot the cerulean sky. Atop the knoll that looks over meadow grasses and fields dotted with hay bales, I am seeking a subject to paint.

As I passed two dogs in a fenced yard, a black shepherd and a border collie, tractors and equipment in the farm yard, small swallows perched on the wire from the barn, a black and white cat creeping over the rocks, I see a brown tooled-leather saddle on the fence and a pretty black horse with a star on its forehead standing in the paddock waiting to be fed. I have found my inspiration for painting today. Unfortunately the photo of Partners was taken after it was framed revealing a glare on the glass.
