Church Hill - St. Paul de Vence Dorothy dhunter Adams

My first trip to Europe was with my girlfriend Karen. We travelled to 10 countries in 21 days – England, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Vatican City, Switzerland, Monaco and France. One of my favourite places we toured was St. Paul de Vence just outside of Nice, France – a place I’ve always wanted to return to someday.

Visited my many from around the world and a haven for renowned artists and actors who have walked the steps and snapped photos of them. I wanted to capture the feeling and atmosphere I remembered of this medieval hilltop town, with its quaint boutiques and cafes lining the stone steps. It is a magical place.

This painting sold to a friend of mine because it recalled her visit to this part of the world.
