When I see the colourful maples leaves falling in Autumn it brings to mind collecting the brightest ones when I was a young child. Even today, the impulse to stop and pick the pretty ones is always there.

Maples are a great source of enjoyment, their lovely colours in the fall and in the early spring, the sap that flows and the delicious syrup produced.
